Shulker Box 2D Sprite Previews

YEmojis allows players to inspect the contents of any Shulker Box directly from hover tooltips in inventories, containers, and chat messages without placing the block on the ground.

How It Works

Traditional plugins alter item NBT lore, which can cause item stack desyncs or bloat world save files. YEmojis uses packet-level tooltip rewriting via ProtocolLib:

Non-Destructive: Shulker item data and NBT tags are never modified on the server.
Real-Time Transformation: Only outgoing display packets sent to the player client are updated with 2D sprite grids.
Vanilla Cleanliness: Other plugins and anti-cheat systems read clean vanilla item metadata.

Shulker Preview Locations

Inventory Hover: Hover over any Shulker Box inside your personal inventory, hotbar, or ender chest.
Chest & Container Hover: Inspect Shulker Boxes resting inside double chests, barrels, or hoppers.
Chat Showcase: When a player types [item] while holding a Shulker Box, hovering over the chat message displays the 2D sprite contents grid.

Quantity Display Styles

You can customize how item stack quantities appear next to each 2D item sprite:
