Steal-A-Block Overview
Claim conveyor plots, generate mutating blocks, and raid rival bases in the ultimate Paper 1.21+ tycoon heist minigame.
Steal-A-Block Documentation
Steal-A-Block merges tycoon automation with competitive in-arena raiding. Players claim private plots, harvest passive cash from mutating blocks moving along central conveyor rivers, and execute 5-second stealth channeling heists into rival bases to carry high-value blocks back to their own vaults.
With 196 distinct blocks, 7 rarity tiers, animated visual mutations, and multi-floor prestige vertical expansion, Steal-A-Block provides a complete progression economy built from the ground up for modern Minecraft servers.
Steal-A-Block runs entirely on vanilla client packets using Modern Minecraft Display Entities and Text Displays. Players do not need resource packs, client-side mods, or OptiFine to see smooth animations, floating conveyors, or custom block mutations.
Supported Platforms & Requirements
Steal-A-Block is built for high-performance Paper and Purpur server environments running Minecraft 1.21 and newer.
| Requirement | Supported Version | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Server Engine | Paper, Purpur 1.21+ | Required | Built against Paper 1.21 API; requires modern packet handling. |
| Java Runtime | Java 21+ | Required | Compiled with Java 21 bytecode targets. |
| FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) | Latest 1.21+ release | Hard Requirement | Required for plot schematic pasting, floor growth, and arena cloning. |
| PlaceholderAPI (PAPI) | 2.11.0+ | Soft Depend | Exposes income, prestige, block counts, and multiplier placeholders. |
| Floodgate | 2.2.0+ | Soft Depend | Enables custom Bedrock touch forms and modal dialogs via Geyser. |
| Client Requirement | Vanilla 1.21+ | 100% Vanilla | Zero texture packs or client modifications required. |
FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) must be present in your plugins/ directory before starting Steal-A-Block. The arena duplication engine and vertical prestige floor builder depend directly on FAWE's high-speed clipboard APIs.
Core Feature Highlights
196 Mutating Blocks Across 7 Rarity Tiers
Collect, store, and trade 196 distinct block types categorized across 7 tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, GOAT, and Secret. Each block has a distinct per-second income rate and instant sell value. Blocks on the conveyor belt dynamically roll mutation chances, upgrading into Golden, Diamond, or animated Rainbow variants with up to 5x income multipliers.
Active In-Arena Raiding & Stealth Channeling
Players infiltrate rival bases by breaking through security gates or sneaking past defenses. Channeling a heist requires 5 seconds of uninterrupted focus at an enemy anvil. Successful raiders hoist stolen blocks above their heads and must navigate back across the arena while base sirens alert defenders.
Display-Entity Conveyor Engine
Moving blocks are rendered client-side using Minecraft 1.21 Block Display entities. This eliminates block jitter, piston desync, and server-side tick lag. The conveyor manager caps active entities at configurable limits (default 24 per arena) and persists state through asynchronous SQLite storage, maintaining 20 TPS with 40+ concurrent raiders.
Base Defenses & Bank Vaults
Players protect accumulated wealth by purchasing tactical base defenses from their plot gear shop. Slime Stun Traps inflict Slowness IV and Blindness on incoming raiders, while upgraded Bank Vaults grant 100% theft immunity to protected anvils.
Spline Camera Drone Flythrough
First-time arena entrants receive an automated 30-second cinematic tour. The camera glides along Catmull-Rom spline curves across 6 focal waypoints—Plot Spawn, Conveyor River, Income Anvils, Deposit Hopper, Tactical Gear Shop, and Security Gates—complete with title headers, action-bar tickers, and chime cues. Players can skip the tour at any time by sneaking or typing /tour skip.
Native Bedrock Touch Menus
Cross-play servers running Floodgate 2.0+ receive automatically routed Bedrock JSON forms. Mobile and console players interact with native buttons, sliders, and modal dialogs rather than emulated inventory chest GUIs.
Rebirth & Prestige Progression
Reach milestone balance thresholds to trigger Rebirths (up to Level 30), resetting cash in exchange for permanent account-wide income multipliers (+0.5x per rebirth). At higher tiers, Prestige requirements unlock vertical plot expansion, growing multi-floor towers with extra storage anvil capacity.
4-to-1 Block Fusion Chamber
Deposit 4 identical blocks into the interactive Fusion Chamber GUI to forge higher mutation tiers. Fuse standard blocks into Golden, Golden into Diamond, and Diamond into animated Rainbow editions without risking item loss.
